Migration Overview

The supplier collaboration experience is about to soar!

OpenText has completely reimagined the supplier collaboration experience with OpenText™ Supplier Portal and OpenText™ Identity and Access Management (IAM). Featuring a modern web interface, customers and their partners will experience simpler administration of secure access and lifecycles for all of their users, groups, organizations and applications to enterprise information.

Some of the exciting new features include:

  • Redesigned admin tools to facilitate the onboarding of users and locations and help build out your network quickly
  • A personalized dashboard of identity statistics and quick links to common admin tasks
  • Self-service capabilities for password management, walk-up registration for users and organizations, and help for users
  • More robust reporting options for better business intelligence

How do these changes affect existing customers?

In early 2022, OpenText will take the first step in the journey to our next generation Supplier Portal with the launch of IAM. Replacing Covisint Connection and Administration (CCA) / Admin Tools, IAM ensures security when sharing information with fine-grained user access control for employees, consumers and business partners, such as suppliers or distributors.

Customer feedback has been an important part of the evolution of our supplier collaboration platform, and we want to continue that by offering existing customers the opportunity to preview the new platform and helping to prepare for the upcoming changes.

Key dates and milestones

November 2021: User preview sessions begin

In November, we will conduct customer preview sessions for IAM. Your OpenText Delivery Manager will contact you to create a schedule that works for your admins and answer any questions you may have.

March 2022: Launch IAM

Your suppliers will begin to derive the benefits of the new IAM Administration Console. Along with the launch of IAM, the Covisint Supplier Portal will be rebranded as OpenText™ Supplier Portal. While existing Supplier Portal tenants will remain unchanged, many suppliers will see the newly branded user interface when they log on.

Looking ahead

There is much more to come as OpenText sets the stage to deliver new functionality and services with the commercial launch of OpenText Supplier Portal CE 22.1 in March 2022. Providing a more consistent, streamlined user experience, Supplier Portal will integrate with OpenText™ Magellan™ BI & Reporting for full featured report and dashboard creation capabilities across the platform. In addition, OpenText™ Core Share will be available as a replacement for Covisint Secure File Exchange for simple and secure collaboration in the cloud.

Your Delivery Manager will discuss how your organization can take the opportunity to upgrade and enjoy all the new features and functionality of the reimagined Supplier Portal.
