When I click on the edit icon to edit my portlet's content, I get a blank screen.  Why is this so?
For security reasons, additional setup is required to properly edit content items.  After you have been approved access to Content Management, send your user ID to the Covisint CMS team (via your Covisint Project Manager), requesting edit rights on the content for which you are responsible.
My request for Content Management service package has been approved but when I log in, I still cannot access the application?
Log out, close your browser, open a new browser, and log back in.  It can take up to 15 minutes for the cache to clear.
When I clicked a link to view a document, I received an error. Why is this so?
Most likely, you do not have proper permission to view the document. Check with your portal content administrator for details.
Why can't I see the same thing on my portal view as my coworker?
Access to view pages, portlets, or content is based on permissions. You may not have the same permission in the system as your coworker, therefore you do not see the same items.
How do I reinstate a previous version of a document?
In this system, you will not find a 'reinstate' button. In order to reinstate a previous version of a document, you must:
  1. Go to the Version History screen of the document.
  2. Save to your desktop the version of the file you wish to reinstate.
  3. Upload the file you saved in step 2 to the same folder location.  The previous version is stored as the active version, and assigned a new incremental version number.  The active version is the one that is displayed on the portal if there are hyperlinks pointing to it.

How can I view my changes to a web content article before publishing it to the portal?

Edit your content using the Preview option. Preview functionality enables you to edit content in a behind-the-scenes view, so that only you and other Content Managers are able to view the edited content, until it is approved.
