PROVIDERLINK FAQs

What do I do?

I am unable to log in to ProviderLink due to using an incorrect username, password, or my account is suspended.
  1. If you log in via www.providerlink.com and click the Customer Login button or via https://login.providerlink.healthcare.covisint.com/providerlink, contact you ProviderLink Facility Administrators to reset or unsuspend your user ID.
  2. If you log in via the Covisint portal ( https://sso.healthcare.covisint.com), on the log in screen, click the “Forgot your password” link to reset your password or click the “Forgot your UserID” link to reset your user ID. If your account is suspended
The ProviderLink login screen is not displaying after I click the Customer Login button.
You need to disable the pop-up blocker. Hold control key while clicking on the Customer Login.
I disabled the pop up blocker but the ProviderLink login screen still does not display.
If pop-up blocker is turned off and the you are still experiencing the same problem, there may be other pop-up blockers on the PC. Yahoo, Google, or other down loadable tool bars have built in pop-up blockers that need to be turned off as well. These will need to be turned off and in some cases uninstalled. Pop-up blockers prevent ProviderLink from displaying certain screens properly.
When I try to open ProviderLink, Internet Explorer displays an error message.
  1. Verify that the you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 or greater.
  2. Log out of ProviderLink and log back in.
  3. Delete cookies and temporary Internet files.
When I try to open ProviderLink, a Run Time Error displays in Internet Explorer.

When using ProviderLink, if a pop up message displays telling you that a "Runtime Error" has occurred and asks if you wish to debug, you should click 'No" and proceed using the application. The error message is generated by the Windows Internet Explorer browser. This feature can be disabled so that the error message does not display when using ProviderLink.

To disable the script debugging options:

  1. Open the Internet Explorer browser (not ProviderLink).
  2. On the menu bar, click Tools then Internet Options.
  3. On the Internet Options windown, click the Advanced tab.
  4. Go to the "Browsing" section, check both “Disable Script Debugging” options.
  5. Click OK to save the changes.
