HYPERSEND FAQs

I can't remember my password. What should I do?
Contact HyperSend Support at crt.covisint.com. We have a procedure that mimics the 'lost password' scenario. However, our security protocol requires us to verify ownership of the account before initiating the procedure.

We ask that you supply the email address of a HyperSend account from which you have received deliveries. Or, if you have used HyperSend to send deliveries but have not received anything, please provide the email address of a HyperSend account to which you have sent deliveries.

As with the 'lost password' procedure, your account will be temporarily disabled. You will receive an email with the subject of "Lost Password for your HyperSend Account." You can click the link contained in this email to reactivate your account and define new security settings.
How do I sign up for a free HyperSend Account?
HyperSend is as easy as email. To send, receive and track your deliveries, you simply use web pages on the HyperSend site. Use this link to go to the Sign Up page. https://www.hypersend.com/Home/Account/Signup/ The sign-up form can be completed in less than a minute!

The sign-up requires the following information:

  • Enter an email address for a currently active account. It must contain the @ symbol and a period. Spaces and the < symbol are unacceptable. HyperSend will use this address to complete the sign up procedure and assist you with account issues, such as a lost password. We will not disclose your name or your email address to others.
  • First Name / Last Name The name recorded here is associated with your HyperSend account on the server.
  • Password We recommend using something that is memorable, but cannot be easily guessed. Your password can be 5 to 150 characters in length. It is case-sensitive.
  • Define Secret Question/Answer Use a memorable word or phrase that only you know. These fields have a 5 character minimum requirement, and are not case-sensitive. This security measure is the means through which HyperSend can verify your identity and help you if you forget or lose your password. When you can't remember your password, click the link on the log-in page. HyperSend displays your secret question. You must supply the correct answer or you will be unable to access your account. If you also have difficulty recalling your secret answer, contact HyperSend Support at crt.covisint.com
  • Online Service Agreement Review the terms and conditions for using this service. Click Accept to complete the sign-up process.
How do I select an email address to use on the Sign Up page?
When signing up for HyperSend, you are required to enter an email address for an active account. The address must contain the @ symbol and a period; it must not contain spaces or the < symbol. The account will continue to function normally through your e-mail software. HyperSend will use this address to complete the sign up procedure and assist you with account issues, such as a lost password; it can send notifications via regular e-mail when you have deliveries to pick up. For instructions on setting up e-mail notifications, see the "HyperSend Help" link on the support page.

Tip: Regular e-mail sent to the account you associate with HyperSend will not become available through www.hypersend.com. It will continue to arrive via your e-mail software.
What is my secret question and secret answer?
This is your challenge question. When you create a new account, you are asked to define a question that only you can answer. It is used as a backup security method if you have forgotten your password and need to reset it. If you forget your password, you will be asked the secret question in order to reactivate your account and set a new password.
How do I change my username and/or password?
Your username is the email address that you entered when you opened your HyperSend Account. Because capacity usage is associated with the address, you cannot change your username unless you choose to sign up for a different account with a different email address.
  1. You can change your password through the Options, Security Settings page. However, if you are unable to log in and access your Options page because you have forgotten your password, go to the Login page.
  2. Fill in your email address and click the 'Forgot password ' link under the password field. You will need to know your secret question and answer. When you reactivate your account, you can choose a new password.

Note - If you can't remember both your password and secret answer, please submit a support request ticket at crt.covisint.com

Why doesn't my password work?
These are the reasons why a HyperSend user receives an 'incorrect password' message.
  1. There is a typo in the password field. For example, the account was created with the password dog123, but dgo123 was entered on the Login page or in the HyperSend login dialog. Clear the field and try again.
  2. The case does not match. Passwords are case-sensitive. The account was created with the password DOG123, but dog123 was entered on the Login page or in the HyperSend login dialog. Clear the field and try various capitalization schemes.
  3. The password contains a trailing (or leading) space. The account was created with dog123 [space] as the password, but dog123 [nospace] was entered on the Login page or in the HyperSend login dialog. (The opposite of this may be true - The account password was created without trailing or leading spaces, but the user included a space when entering the password on the Login page or in the HyperSend login dialog.)

Trailing and leading spaces are considered valid characters in an account password. Clear the field and try again with each of the possibilities - trailing space (last character after the alpha/numeric character), no trailing space; leading space (first character in the field), no leading space.

If you have tried all the above remedies with no success, define a new password for your account by going through the "I forgot my password" procedure. This procedure is initiated by accessing the HyperSend Login page, entering only your email address (leave the password field blank), then clicking the 'I forgot my password' link at the bottom of the login page.

Contact HyperSend Support at https://crt.covisint.com if you have difficulty with the 'forgotten password' process.
